Inovallée é visto como o primeiro parque francês
Em seu roteiro de visitas a ambientes de inovação na França, o Professor Flávio Wagner, Diretor do Parque da UFRGS, visitou o Inovallée no dia 27 de abril, tendo sido recebido pela diretora geral do parque, Annie Soufi.
O Inovallée foi criado em 1971, inicialmente com o nome de ZIRST (zona industrial para pesquisa científica e tecnológica). O parque abrange uma grande área física com mais de 100 hectares, localizada entre os municípios de Meylan e Montbonnot, nos arredores de Grenoble.
Empresas instaladas no parque devem desenvolver atividades de P&D, ou atividades fabris de alta tecnologia, ou serviços voltados às demais empresas residentes. Ele abriga hoje mais de 350 empresas, que oferecem mais de 12.000 empregos diretos. 46% delas são start-ups e 70% são inovadoras. 30% delas têm negócios de nível internacional. O número de empregos vem aumentando anualmente – foram 600 novos empregos em 2012 e mais de 1000 novos em 2013. Em média, 36 novas empresas se instalam no Inovallée a cada ano.
Além disso, uma das sedes do INRIA (importante instituto francês de pesquisas em Informática) fica dentro do parque e conta com centenas de pesquisadores.
O Inovallée oferece os serviços usuais de consultoria e apoio à gestão (propriedade intelectual, contabilidade, busca de financiamento, marketing) para as empresas residentes, especialmente para as start-ups e pequenas empresas.
O parque abriga uma pequena “pepinière” (incubadora para empresas já formalizadas), denominada Tarmac, com os serviços usuais de apoio à gestão. Atualmente o espaço é ocupado por cerca de 15 empresas, todas do setor “Green IT”.
