GPMC Research Seminar

This week’s seminar will be led by PhD candidate Rafael Albuquerque, who will discuss the topic of Consumer Mobility Dynamics. The meeting will once again take place in a hybrid format, via Zoom and in person at EA, on Thursday (10/10), from 9 AM to 10 AM. We look forward to your presence!

This seminar will explore how consumer mobility influences sales and how e-WOM (electronic word of mouth) can moderate this relationship. The project will employ geospatial analysis techniques to investigate the impact of mobility in urban areas, focusing on the interactions between physical mobility and digital mentions. The objectives and methods of the research will be discussed, highlighting the analysis of the interaction between mobility, sales, and e-WOM, as well as their implications for theory, marketing strategies, and public policies.
