The conversation this week at the GPMC Research Seminar will revolve around PhD student Alina Flores and her study “Crossing Borders: Insights from My Journey as a Visiting PhD Student at MIT”. The presentation, as usual, will take place this Thursday (06/27) at 9 AM via Zoom.

Alina will walk us through the steps of securing a visiting position at MIT, discussing the application process and what it takes to adapt to a new academic environment. This talk will also highlight the balance between research and experiencing life in Boston, a city full of history and culture.
