The Human Rights and Institutional Violence Commission linked to the Directorate of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Greande do Sul was created in August 2022 to ensure reception and provide adequate information in cases of complaints and complaints of harassing, discrimination and violence within the Institute.

The role of the commission is to welcome, absolutely confidentially, people who feel victims of violations, disclose institutional paths to record complaints and complaints, conduct campaigns, propose training and other forms of reflection that can promote a more university life inclusive and respectful to the various groups that compose it.

The Commission proposes to be a space for listening and guidance for IFCH people who feel victims of different forms of violence. This way, CDH will not be able to act directly on some issues, but it will indicate possible ways to be taken so that the person will access the responsible agencies to address their case.

The Commission is composed of administrative and teachers and teachers and students from different departments and sectors of the IFCH. In your communications the identity of the person who seeks welcoming will always be preserved.
