The History course offers two qualifications: Degree and Bachelor Degree.

In addition to the formation of graduates in History, who work mainly in public and private primary schools, the course has bachelors degrees in three distinct lines: historical research, archaeological research and cultural historical heritage.

The solid theoretical and practical training of our students enables both graduates and bachelors to enter masters of history and other humanities, providing a considerable contingent of teachers at the university level, not only in history but also in Colleges of Education, Archivology and Museology. In addition, graduates of the course are able to work professionally in archival and museum institutions, as well as in archaeological excavations and other historical and cultural activities.
