IFCH is present at the 49th ANPOCS Annual Meeting

Professors, students and graduates from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) at UFRGS participate in the 49th Annual Meeting of the National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Social Sciences (ANPOCS), one of the main spaces for debate and scientific dissemination of social sciences in the country.
The event takes place in a hybrid format, with virtual activities between the 15th and 17th of October and in-person activities between the 22nd and 24th of October, on the campus of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in Campinas (SP).
The participation of IFCH/UFRGS covers several contemporary themes in the human and social sciences, reflecting the plurality of approaches and research objects developed in the Institute's postgraduate programs. Among the themes present in the communications are issues related to ethics and morality, art and culture, public policies and institutions, social movements, urban dynamics, science and technology, gender and diversity issues, digital media and sociability, environmental changes, political philosophy and social theory.
These contributions demonstrate IFCH's commitment to excellent scientific production and interdisciplinary dialogue, reaffirming the Institute's role in consolidating the human sciences as a fundamental field for understanding contemporary society.
The complete event schedule and list of participants can be found on the official ANPOCS website: www.anpocs.org.
