It is with regret that the Postgraduate Program in Political Science communicates the death of Professor Francisco Luiz dos Santos Ferraz, former dean of UFRGS and founder of our program, which took place today, 10/21/2023. Professor Ferraz was fundamental in the development of Brazilian political science. We will miss your analyzes, while brilliant, harsh and humorous.

Our condolences to family and friends.
