CEBRAP Law and Democracy Center launches postdoctoral degree on economic power and democracy
The Center for Law and Democracy of the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (Cebrap) announces the opening of notice to select candidates for a postdoctoral scholarship. The selected will act in the project "Concentration of Economic Power and Crisis of Democracy", a study that seeks to unravel the implications of economic concentration in the contemporary political-democratic scenario.
This project is linked to the thematic project "Crisis of Democracy: Critical Theory and Diagnosis of the Present Time". Under the coordination of the renowned Professor Rúrion Melo, the initiative aims to understand the challenges and adversities that democracies face in the current scenario, with the backdrop of socioeconomic transformations and their reflexes in the political field.
The São Paulo State Research Support Foundation (FAPESP) is responsible for financially supporting the postdoctoral scholarship, ensuring the excellence and depth of the research to be developed.
