Professor Ruben Oliven represents PPGAS/UFRGS at an international event on digital ethics

Professor Ruben Oliven, linked to the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (PPGAS/UFRGS) and vice president to the southern region of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC), participated in Third Workshop on Digital Ethics at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Occurred in Vienna, Austria, on October 24 and 25, 2023, the event focused on the “cultural dimensions of digital ethics”.
Gathering experts from around the world, the workshop stood out as an important space for dialogue about the challenges and perspectives of ethics in the digitized world. The meeting is an initiative of the Academies for Global Innovation and Digital Ethics (AGIDE) project, which has already promoted two other editions in April 2023, exploring digital ethics in different cultural contexts.
