The UFRGS Graduate Program in Philosophy promotes, on April 22 and 23, 2025, the workshop on Aristotle and Aristotelianism. The event will be held at the IFCH Panthéon Auditorium, at the Vale Campus, with activities in the morning and afternoon, and will bring together researchers from Brazil and abroad to discuss central aspects of Aristotle's work and its reception throughout history.

Among the topics covered are Aristotelian epistemology, metaphysics, ethics and influence of Aristotle on authors such as Tomasage of Aquino. The program includes lectures from teachers and researchers linked to UFRGS, UFG, Unl (Argentina) and Rennes I University (France).

The workshop is organized by Professor Raphael Zillig and postdoctoral student Pedro Konzen Capra, both linked to the Department and the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at UFRGS. The activity is free and open to the public.
