It is with great satisfaction that the Editorial Team of the Brazilian Journal of African Studies (BJAS) announces the publication of its seventeenth issue, entering its ninth year of publication.

BJAS is a biannual digital publication, in Portuguese and English, dedicated to research, reflection, and dissemination of studies on African themes, with an emphasis on the areas of International Relations, History, Political Science, and Economics.
